Clay Martin Selected as “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers® for 3rd Year in a Row
Martin & Helms, P.C. is proud to announce the co-founder Clay Martin has once again been selected for inclusion in the annual Best Lawyers in America® list. Furthermore, he has been selected as a “Lawyer of the Year” for the third year running.
Best Lawyers issues an annual list of attorneys who have been nominated and recognized by their peers for their outstanding work in their fields. The nomination and selection process “is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.” Inclusion on the list one year does not guarantee inclusion the next, and attorneys cannot self-nominate. They also cannot pay for a position on the list; it is entirely based on per review.

Clay has also been named to Super Lawyers (2012-present) and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Association and the Alabama Law Foundation, and the 2009 recipient of the Madison County Bar Association Community Service Award.
